Drive safe. Please.

It's that time of the year again - the holiday spirit is running high. Christmas. New Year's Eve. And, sadly, a time when there's a spike in the number of deaths due to rash, negligent and worst of all - drunken driving. The police and the government can take as many measures they can to try and keep a tab on the silly bunch who put their lives on the line for a few thrills. But at the end of the day, it's all down to how responsible we are.

Here's a bunch of public awareness ads from around the world promoting safe driving - be it not drinking and driving, speeding, or even using cell phones while driving.

So have a happy New Year and for the sake of those who love you - drive safe. Please.

  1. All I can say is that, these ads are really creative. But they all say the same thing, always be careful while driving on the road. If you're feeling really tired from a party, work or even by driving the whole day, it's better to stop somewhere and catch some shut-eye. After all, a few hours of sleep is better than eternally sleeping, right?

  2. It's sad to know that most accidents on the road happen because drivers are distracted by other things while they're driving. If you receive a call, let it pass and return the call later on. If you really have to pick up an urgent call, you can stop somewhere safe and answer it.
